Overview

 

The Ministry of Economic Development of Montenegro, as partner of the NEST project, is organising a free Capacity Building path called "Improving knowledge and skills to build a new future of smart and sustainable tourist destinations" for interested candidates and entrepreneurs from Montenegro in the field of sustainable tourism.

The course will be held online from January 25 to February 8, 2021. The total duration of the course is 40 hours and will be structured in four modules consisting of expert theoretical presentations, group critical thinking and discussions on the topic, and case studies, as well as individual work on the development of hypothetically new experimental routes / itineraries in the cross-border areas of Montenegro, Albania and Italy.

The goal of this Capacity building course is to improve understanding and further develop the knowledge and skills of entrepreneurs to design a "new future" of sustainable tourism in Montenegro.

Participants of this course will use the acquired understanding and new knowledge for creativity and design of innovative new experimental itineraries of cross-border tourism, in one of the following two important areas with potential for further expansion:

1. sport and nature

2. cultural / historical heritage / local agro-food

The application deadline is January 19, 2021, by 2 p.m.
